It’s that time of year again. The winter holidays are well-and-truly over, which means it’s time for me to get back into the swing of things. Back to working my day job, developing games, and hunting for a job in-industry.
(Hire me.)
Judging by the the posting dates on literally every job-board I’ve seen today, it seems like everyone else out there is doing the exact same thing.
…
Well, I suppose those of you doing the posting aren’t job-hunting, by definition, but still! There’s a small crater in every job board between December 20th and January 10th, which I imagine was occupied by celebrations until very recently.
Or just sleep. That’s good, too.
The point is: I see you there. All of you. Hello. Welcome back.
…that’s kind of it for this one, really. I just wanted to wish everyone well, as we collectively dive back into the great game development blender.
In the coming weeks I hope to have several more things to post here – including (potentially) a round of closed beta testing on Doorways 9.
I’ve been cleaning up after my pre-Christmas self this week, and have got a decent build shaping up – but want to build things out juuuuuuust a bit more before I start gathering feedback.
In the meantime, I’ll be accepting submissions for 100% real, totally legitimate countries to randomly assign players. Gotta get that “my computer knows where I live” feeling down without actually cyber-stalking anyone!

Anyways… yeah. That’s it.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go back to missing Montréal. And wondering if it would’ve been worth leaving my card on Ubisoft’s doorstep as a joke.

If you’re a board game/tabletop person and you’re ever in Montréal – go there.
Thanks for reading, everyone! And have a good day!
